MUMBAI: The latest trend of promoting films is through popular television shows. The show Comedy Nights, which started only two weeks back, has already gained great response from the viewers. The Ghanchakkar team – Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan and the Lootera team – Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha were seen previously in this show to do the promotions for their film.

The Chennai Express stars, accompanied by their director Rohit Shetty, were on the show to promote their North-meets-South romantic comedy, and we hear that they totally charmed the audience – with a little help from Kapil Sharma, Ali Asgar and the rest of the funny gang, of course!
