ISLAMABAD: Various satellite television channels have been served show cause notices for breaching the code of conduct and terms and conditions for licenses, the national assembly was informed on Monday.
During the question hour in the lower house of the parliament, it was further told that fine has also been imposed on various satellite television channels on violating Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) laws.
