KARACHI, Pakistan: The Pakistan People’s Party(PPP) Sindh government has decided to compile a data of Chinese citizens.
The decision was taken when a Chinese delegation held a meeting with the Home Secretary Sindh Abdul Kabir Qazi in Karachi.
It was proposed to set up a separate counter for Chinese citizens at the airport.
It is worth noting that a terror attack targeting the Chinese Consulate in Karachi was foiled by the security forces on November 23.
The security forces killed two terrorists while one of them blew himself up; however, the blast also left two policemen Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Ashraf Dawood and Constable Amir, as well as two civilians martyred.
Meanwhile while presiding over a meeting on law & order at the CM House in Karachi on December 4, the Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah directed to issue compensation to heirs of martyrs of the attack on the Chinese Consulate.
The Chief Minister also issued directives to give bullet proof jackets to security personnel deputed at main gates of CM House, Governor House, Consulates, IG Office, and Additional IG Office.
