KARACHI: The Sindh government on Thursday withdrew notification about dismissal of 12,000 contract and ad hoc employees from local government department.
On Tuesday, the provincial government ordered the removal of around 12,000 employees working in grades-1 to grade-15 following the massive discrepancy and fraud in their appointment.
“All appointments since June 30, 2012 are against the rules; therefore, they are declared null and void,” the notification issued by secretary local government Ali Ahmed Lund said.
