The resolution condemned the MQM Chief’s statements in which he sought intervention of foreign institutions and countries including India in the internal matters of Pakistan.

His statements against the Pakistan army and Sindh Rangers as well as asking for the breakup of Sindh were also strongly condemned in the resolution.

The resolution asked the provincial government to approach the federal government for taking legal action against Altaf Hussain for his speech against solidarity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.

Later talking to newsmen outside the Sindh assembly, the provincial Senior Minister for Information and Irrigation Nisar Khuhro said that no attack on the solidarity and integrity of the country will be tolerated.

Khuhro said that inviting the forces of the enemy country to enter Karachi is highly intolerable, unconstitutional and against the norms of patriotism. He said that the people living in Sindh are Sindhi irrespective of the language they speak.
