KARACHI: A series of hand grenade blasts occurred in Lyari area of Karachi on Wednesday that left at least 12 persons including women and children killed, the rescue sources said.
The sources said that more than 30 others were also injured in the blasts which took place during clashes between two rival groups in Jhat Pat Market area, Bizenjo Chowk and other parts of Lyari.
The dead and injured were rushed to Civil Hospital, where an emergency was declared.
