GHALLANAI: A soldier and six militants were killed in a clash near the border with Afghanistan in Baizai subdivision in Mohmand Agency on Thursday, official sources said. The outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 04 October, 2012.
According to sources, the militants attacked the Gorsal Post in Baizai subdivision near the Pak-Afghan border at night and killed a soldier and injured another. Several militants also sustained injuries in the fighting. The sources said in retaliation, security forces killed six militants and injured several others.
