The suicide bombing in St. Petersburg metro train was planned in Moscow, claim Special Services of Kyrgyzstan.

Suspect Akbarjon Jalilov also spell as Akbarzhon Dzhalilov (Russian: Акбаржон Джалилов) who blew himself was not alone but he had accomplices who planted a remote control bomb at the metro station but remote control bomb did not work because communication signals inside metro tunnel were jammed immediately after suicide bombing took place. Second device that was recovered was a “Homemade explosive” based on ammonium nitrate and ball bearings. Jalilov was born on April 1, 1995 and died on April 3, 2017— aged 22.

“Communication jammers started working just after first explosion therefore it was not possible to blow planted bomb with remote control”, claim investigation unit working in St. Petersburg.

Unusual information came on surface during investigation with friends and mother of suspect Akbarjon Jalilov in Amir Timur sub district of Osh region.

According to State Committee of National Security of Kyrgyzstan, suspect had links with a banned Islamic group in Moscow.

The suicide bomber Akbarjon Jalilov, who blew up the St. Petersburg subway worked in a car repair shop as mechanics in St. Petersburg. His citizenship was given by consulate general of Russia in Kyrgyzstan. His mother is a Kyrgyz while his father is a Russian citizen.

Committee of National Security of Kyrgyzstan is interrogating his parents and his friends in Osh district. His friends believe that he was radicalised after he got contact with some people living in Middle Eastern countries.

According to family details, father of Jalilov is a Russian citizen and he processed naturalization of his son for Russian citizenship in year 2011. The case of his citizenship was processed from Russian consulate general in Kyrgyzstan.

Father and son worked in an automobile workshop in St. Petersburg and both loved body building.

According to initial investigation with his parents and friends, it is noted that Jalilov visited his mother in Osh in late February 2017 and flew back to St. Petersburg via Moscow on March 3, 2017.

During investigation, it was noted that Jalilov unusually got traveled to Moscow first instead of directly to St. Petersburg.

“His usual route was Biskek to Pulkovo whenever he visited his family but this time he got ticket to Domodedovo in Moscow instead directly to Pulkovo. Why did he go to Moscow and with whom he met are important questions for investigators?, said sources in investigating team. It may be mentioned that Pulkovo Airport is an international airport serving Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Investigators believe that it is possible organizers of St. Petersburg suicide bombing are in Moscow with whom suspect met before travelling to his original destination—St. Petersburg.

Jalilov was living a simple life and had never been involved in any crime and was not on the radar of Russian as well as Kyrgyz law enforcing agencies. Jalilov lived in St. Petersburg for the past six years and his record was clean and promising.

Russian intelligence agencies and Kyrgyz law enforcing agencies are collaborating to solve this case and this is a challenge to them to understand that how a simple boy became a terrorist?

Meanwhile, reports coming from Moscow claim that Jalilov got links with one of the extremist organizations connected with the so-called “Islamic state. Investigators are trying to find out the whole range of his acquaintances and connections within Russia as well as in Kyrgyzstan.

It may be mentioned that Jalilov is suspect who blew himself on April 3 while travelling in St. Petersburg metro train on a stretch between the stations Sennaya Ploshchad and Technological Institute-2 in one of the wagons.
