Lately, the auto sector has been under severe crisis in wake of currency depreciation and import curbs.
As the prices skyrocketed, the sales nosedives, experts claim while Chinese motorcycle manufacturers were hit the worst amid the economic crunch. It was reported that Suzuki sales have also dropped by 20-30 percent as other bike makers also increased prices.
Last year, the government fixed import quotas for the auto sectors, that too disturbed the supply chain of the industry as several firms were unable to import their allowed quotas while banks were not entertaining individuals in opening of LCs.
