ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Councilor and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis will arrive in Pakistan for an official visit from July 7-9, 2023 at the invitation of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
The delegation includes three members of the Swiss Parliament and Senior Officials.
The invitation to visit Pakistan was extended to Ignazio Cassis by Shahbaz Sharif when they met in Geneva at the occasion of International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan held on January 09, 2023.
In Islamabad, the Swiss Federal Councilor Cassis will call on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and also hold a meeting with the Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rahman.
Ignazio Cassis will also visit the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in Islamabad where the two sides will discuss bilateral cooperation in disaster management.
