The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has sealed Tehzeeb Bakers located in Blue Area for causing the outbreak of hepatitis and non-compliance of instructions of the Directorate of Health Services (DHS).
Tehzeeb Bakers was sealed at the directives of the Senior Special Magistrate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and a notification in this regard has been placed at the entrance of the bakery. The notification stated that six of bakery employees namely Fazal Ahmed, Mian Ramzan, Muhammad Fiaz, Zulfiqar, Najeeb Ullah, and Sajid Jaleel were diagnosed with hepatitis when they visited the Directorate of Health for test.
Upon that, the bakery was asked by the DHS to bar its affected employees from offering services at the outlet; however, they didn’t pay head to its order and the affected employees continued to work.
Therefore, the Directorate approached the Senior Special Magistrate CDA, considering the non-compliance by Tehzeeb Bakers a serious offence as it could cause the spread of hepatitis among the masses on a large scale.
Eventually, the Senior Special Magistrate CDA directed to seal the bakery so that the customers could be saved from the disease.
