QUETTA, Pakistan: The Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan foiled a terror plot by defusing improvised explosive device in Mach area of Kachhi Bolan district on Wednesday.
Talking to media in Quetta, a spokesman for the FC said that the frontier corps received information about presence of a suspected thing in Mach area.
“FC personnel reached the site and defused IED weighing 20 kg,” he said, adding that unknown men had planted it to carrying out act of terror.
Separately, the FC Balochistan took three suspected persons into custody in Sangsila area of Dera Bugti district.
The FC spokesman said that FC personnel launched operation in Sangsila area following the information about the presence of militants of a banned militant organization.
“The FC personnel took three suspected men into custody who were being interrogated,” he said.
