ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Tuesday said following the acceptance of his bail plea by an Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in four Cases, now it had been proven that he wasn’t a terrorist, and terrorism law was being used against political opponents.

Earlier the ATC Judge Shahrukh Arjumand accepted Imran Khan’s bail in all four cases related to attacks on Pakistan Television (PTV) building, Parliament House and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Asmatullah Junejo during the 2014 sit-in staged against alleged rigging in May 2013 general elections.Terrorism law being used against political opponents: Imran Khan

Talking to media after the ruling, Imran Khan said misuse of terrorism law was a threat to democracy.

Imran Khan further said he had complete faith in Allah, and expressed confidence that the PTI would form the next government in the Centre. He said even astrologers had also predicted that PTI would win next general elections.

“If we get opportunity we will resolve many issues,” Imran Khan said.

The PTI Chief said they were fighting against Mafia. He said the PTI would empower the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) once it came into power.

Earlier talking to media following his appearance before the Court, Imran Khan said the US President Donald Trump was briefed by anti-Pakistan forces. He said it seemed like Donald Trump had no understanding of Afghan war.

Imran Khan said the US president was short of wisdom and intelligence, and he had been following the agenda of Pakistan’s enemies.

“Our rulers pushed us into war against terrorism after 9/11,” he said adding when he spoke against going into someone else’s war, he was named as Taliban Khan.

The PTI Chief also said both Sharif brothers went to Saudi Arabia to seek another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). “Pakistani nation will not accept any NRO,” he added.

Imran also reiterated the demand of early elections in the Country, saying Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was just a dummy prime minister.
