ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said terrorists were attacking the pillars of democracy, however the entire nation was united against them with an unflinching resolve.
“Their (terrorists’) attack in Quetta is an indication that they hate and target every institution which is integral part of our polity,” the Prime Minister said in a meeting with the Awami National Party (ANP) leader MNA Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour at the PM House in Islamabad.
The two leaders discussed matters of national significance and political situation during the meeting.
The prime minister said that terrorists wanted to attack the State and society through their perverted ideology.
“Terrorists must know that as State and as government, the process of elimination of terrorism through Zarb-e-Azb and National Action Plan is irreversible,” he said.
The prime minister said Pakistan was satisfactorily advancing towards a strong, economically vibrant and politically stable future.
