The confession statement from the Principal Secretary of former prime minister Imran Khan did not surprise me, the drama which has been engulfing the internal and external diplomacy was terrible in the sense that sane minds from the first day opined that American Coup d’état is the lamest excuse Imran Khan has come up so far among the long list of bizarre and absurd ideas he has been throwing to the public.
Azam Khan the principal secretary of Imran Khan orchestrated a cipher fiasco for Imran Khan and provided all the bureaucratic assistance to present it as a real Coup d’état, now taking back his words and admitting that it was a fraud
Imran Khan’s entire politics rest upon dishonesty, U-turns, lies, and deceit hence another lie being exposed does not bother its already tainted reputation, although my concern is definitely about the deceitful games, played behind the locked doors by decorated civil servants. Politicians are usually power hungry and the moment they get the power which can maximum be stretched up to a couple of years, the idea of them playing dirty politics in order to prolong that stay is understandable by keeping human nature in mind but the bureaucracy, judiciary, and other civil servants becoming part of these treacherous agendas is beyond my comprehension. It is understood now that Azam Khan who orchestrated a cipher fiasco for Imran Khan and provided all the bureaucratic assistance to present it as a real Coup d’état, now taking back his words and admitting that it was a fraud, Imran Khan planned the people of Pakistan, Imran Khan betrayed the emotions of his followers nevertheless took advantage of it.
I don’t know who is buying Azam Khan’s narrative, but I am sure of me not falling for that, Azam Khan was a fully decorated bureaucrat who was supposed to follow the code of conduct he had signed, but, he not only disobeyed his code of conduct but also committed conspiracy against his country. He willfully became a writer of theatrical scenes that further frustrated emotionally vulnerable followers of Imran Khan. His deceit in his duty harmed Pakistan externally and internally but above all he facilitated the spreading of the lies to which Imran Khan himself is quite prone to his emotionally charged followers.
I suggest watching the German film “Die Walle” or in English “The Wave”; both versions are available. The film could be helpful to understand for those who are saying on social media that Azam Khan is innocent, and he is doing whatever he is doing under the pressure of the “Company” a newly coined word by PTI Social Media Slur Brigade against Pakistan Army.
Azam Khan’s duty should have been safeguarding Pakistan’s interests instead of hatching conspiracies against Pakistan. Especially this cipher conspiracy was so lame and it created the base material for mobilizing a cult against the state and eventually toward a civil war against the state that was averted by the state institutions on May 9, 2023. Being a highest ranked bureaucrat it was the least expected behavior on his part, first not taking the stand against a lie and now not taking a stance to face its consequences, it could not get more shameful then as it is right now.
Imran Khan and his cult were engineered to operate the way they are operating today but Pakistani bureaucracy is the most efficient institution of Pakistan’s administrative power, having spineless bureaucrats such as Azam Khan is a bad call for Pakistan. I cannot and will not blame Imran Khan for his insensitive approach towards state and state institutions but a bureaucrat betraying his mother institution and motherland is the wrong precedent to set forth. So far Imran Khan and his followers are concerned; I have done an extensive series of how and why of this cult but today I suggest watching the German film “Die Walle” or in English “The Wave”; both versions are available. The film could be helpful to understand for those who are saying on social media that Azam Khan is innocent, and he is doing whatever he is doing under the pressure of the “Company” a newly coined word by PTI Social Media Slur Brigade against Pakistan Army.
If Azam Khan was right in crafting a cipher to spread the lie that Imran is being thrown out of power because the USA wants so and now if he is innocent by saying that whatever was done was a fraud and a scam and he was part of that plan, does not need above normal IQ but just normal grade common sense that neither he was under pressure when he was plotting and scheming against the USA as well as Pakistan nor he is under pressure now when he decided to tell the truth; in both the case he turns out to be of a man who has no integrity and self-respect, so far Imran Khan’s cult followers are concern watch this film, in which a sociology professor in order to explain how public manipulation operates conducted an experiment, he created an ideology, a public figure a torch barrier of that ideology, only when he successfully created a cult following of that crafted ideology and leader in the class, he then revealed that the their savior, their leader, he does not even exit, he, “the professor” made it all up. The vulnerable mind longing for the fulfillment of their wishful thought can walk behind any pipe-piper. Let them give the margin to soothe their emotional desires by saying that Azam Khan is under pressure and trying to save the female members of his family etc. although people like Azam Khan must not be spared for their misconduct and more off aiding and abiding emotional unrest in the blind followers.
All those who understand the social experiment of “Die Walle” knew from the start that the aftermath of the project, Imran Khan will include emotional devastation of his cult follower same as when emotionally and ideologically charged students of the professor in the film faced after knowing that their ideological leader does not even exist and this ideology was an experiment of mad-science. Leave these wounded souls aside but the culprits like Azam Khan cannot be ignored.
“Those who engage in deceit and manipulation to serve their own interests not only betray the state but also undermine the trust and fabric of society. Their actions demonstrate a disregard for ethical principles and a willingness to sacrifice the well-being of their fellow citizens for personal gain. Such individuals exploit vulnerabilities, sow discord, and manipulate emotions to achieve their selfish objectives. It is a stark reminder that vigilance, integrity, and accountability are crucial in safeguarding the state against the treacherous games played by those who seek to deceive.”——Comments from philosophical thoughts and the State.
