GUJRANWALA, Pakistan: The City School hosted a Theatre Drama Workshop entitled “Key Theoretical Concepts: Staging, lighting and Dialogue Delivery” at its Gujranwala Campus on February 22, primarily focusing on modern storytelling, acting techniques, and live performance.
The Director of the International Language Centre at GIFT University Dr. Taimur Kayani hosted the workshop.
The event was part of the City School’s continuous endeavour to bring the best and the latest in the field of Education and Pedagogy to its students.
In the worship, the students also performed in live stage acting, dialogue delivery under the supervision of Dr. Taimur Kayani.
The live session highlighted the various kinds of stage, its evolution from Greek to modern times, performing under variable settings, conflict situations as well the stylistic constituents of inspiring theatre performance.
Meanwhile, Dr. Taimur Kayani also planted a sapling at the lawn of The City School Gujranwala Campus as the School Management always cares about the global environment and engages in ‘Green Project’ to improve the ecosystem.
