LAHORE: Three more children died of measles on Monday, bringing overall death toll from the outbreak in Punjab to 90 since January.
The deceased children who passed away today were under treatment in Children Hospital Lahore.
Some 9,000 children are affected by measles in Punjab, triggering the provincial health authorities to launch a children’s vaccination week (April 24-30).
However the outbreak is still out of control and causing deaths across the country.
