Three more dead in Karachi killings

KARACHI: An activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) among three other people was shot dead in various incidents of violence in the city on Saturday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 20 October, 2012.

The killings brought the number of people to twenty-five who have fallen prey to political and sectarian killings over the past three days.

According to SHO Liaquat Ali, a worker of the MQM’s Organising Committee was shot dead two men riding a motorcycle in Sector-48B in Korangi in the Zaman Town police remit.

Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Abdul Rasheed Khan of the North Nazimabad Division said an unspecified number of assailants fatally shot a person near the KESC’s Hyderi office in Block-G of North Nazimabad during the night.

Likewise, the body of an unidentified boy was found in the Ferozabad police remit.
