KIEV, Ukraine: The researcher and translator of autobiography of Pushtun leader Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai Dr. Ghulam Sarwar met the Ukrainian Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyschuk in Kiev.
Dr. Ghulam Sarwar translated the autobiography of Abdul Samad Khan Achakzai along with Vasyal Ivashko, a well renowned Ukrainian literature writer.
During his meeting with the Ukrainian Culture Minister, Ghulam Sarwar discussed the issues in the sphere of culture.
The discussion also covered the importance of the book on Abdul Samad khan Achakzai for Ukrainians.
The two dignitaries noted that the translation of Pustun leader’s autobiography from Pushto to the Ukrainian language is of great significance and might leave a far-reaching impact.
Earlier on November 13, the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University hosted a Ceremony in which the translation of Abdul Samad Khan’s autobiography into the Ukraine language was presented.
In the event, speakers remarked that Abdul Samad Khan’s struggle for independence, democracy and equal Constitutional rights for his people resulted half of his adult life in various prisons of British India and Pakistan but he never bowed down in front of injustice and imperialism.
