JAMSHORO, Pakistan: An ambulance and a truck collided in Sindh’s Jamshoro District night which resulted in death of five persons including a woman and injuries to two others.
Sources said that the collision occurred between the two vehicles near Manjhand City of Jamshoro District on late Friday.
They said that the ambulance while carrying a patient was heading towards Karachi from Mehar when it struck the truck near Manjhand City. Resultantly, five persons were killed.
The dead persons were identified as ambulance driver Bashir Ahmad Babar, 35-year-old Iamam Zadi Birohi, 14-year-old Azhar Ali, 42-year-old Abdul Hai, and Maqsood.
Likewise, the patient Abdul Gafoor and his relative Abdul Ghani received serious injuries.
The dead bodies and the injured persons were immediately taken to Taluka hospital Manjhand and then shifted to Hyderabad hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, police registered a case and started investigation of the incident.
