PESHAWAR: The Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the twin blasts in Karachi’s Ancholi area that left at least seven persons dead last night, saying that they carried out the blasts to take revenge of the US drone strikes.
The TTP spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said while talking to media from an undisclosed location that they will continue to conduct such terror attacks to take revenge of the US drone strikes which killed their leaders.
Two back to back explosions ripped through a busy street in Ancholi area of Karachi on Friday night that left at least seven persons killed and 28 others injured. The blasts also badly damaged a number of shops and vehicles.
