Turbat blast leaves 4 security personnel dead

QUETTA: A powerful bomb exploded near the BC trucks in Shahpuk area of Turbat district on Tuesday night killing four personnel of Balochistan Constabulary (BC) were killed and injuring 14 others, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 07 August, 2012.

A convoy of BC was on its way from Quetta to Turbat to make security arrangements for a fair in Turbat, which will begin next week. When the convoy reached the Shahpuk area, it was targeted by a remote-controlled bomb, officials of the Turbat administration said.

“The explosives were BC’s trucks approached the site the powerful remote control bomb went off with a big bang,” Deputy Commissioner Kech Abdul Fateh Bhangar told Dispatch News Desk (DND).
