New building of Islamabad Model College for Boys was to be completed in 2010 according to original plans, but it was completed in 2013 due to delays.
However, classes could not be started in the new building, as boundary wall of the college, could not be completed due to illegal occupation of the college land.

Minister of State also urged the people not to occupy the government lands reserved for schools and other public institutions adding that to cooperate and do not drag such cases into courts.
It leads to sheer waste precious time in useless litigation. Otherwise law of the land is there to take its own course of action, he said.
