PESHAWAR: Two security personnel and one civilian were killed in a suicide attack at a military checkpost in Spinwam area of Shawal in the North Waziristan tribal region on Tuesday.
The security sources said that the suicide bomber driving a car was intercepted by security forces outside the Spinwam Hospital at the checkpost where he blew himself up before reaching his target.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) also confirmed the incident and said that huge losses would have occurred if the suicide bomber had not been intercepted.
