KARACHI, Pakistan: The Sindh Rangers and Police conducted a joint operation in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Tuesday and killed two terrorists including an Al-Qaeda Commander.
However, an official of the intelligence agency also embraced martyrdom in the operation.
The intelligence sources said that after receiving information about the presence of Al-Qaeda Commander Ahad in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, the security forces carried out an operation in the area.
But in the meantime, an exchange of fire erupted between the security forces and terrorists which led to the death of two terrorists including Ahad, the leader of Al-Qaeda activity in Karachi.
The sources said that Ahad was also involved in the Safoora attack at which 45 members of the Ismaili community were killed in April this year.
But unfortunately, the Assistant Director Muhammad Sajjad was also killed as a result of firing by terrorists.
