In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the retail prices of petroleum products have been increased by over 5% for May 2023.
The UAE Fuel Price Committee announced the new prices on Sunday for the next month.
As per the announcing, now the retail price of Super 98 has been set at Dh3.16 per litre while Special 95 and E-Plus 91 will now cost Dh3.05 per litre and Dh2.97 per litre respectively.
Similarly, the price of diesel for the month of May 2023 has been fixed at Dh2.91 per litre.

The revised fuel rates in UAE for May are the highest in 2023, which will push the transportation cost higher and encourage people to use public transport more often.
