ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has expressed his resolve to collect $450 million for education in Pakistan.
In a telephonic conversation held between the British prime minister and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif on Thursday, both the leaders discussed issues related to education in Pakistan.
During the talks, Brown expressed his resolve to collect $450 million which will be spent to bring improvement in the education sector of Pakistan including providing better security facilities to schools in the country.
On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif appreciated his goodwill towards Pakistan and its people. He said that he is fully aware of the continuous work that Gordon Brown is carrying out to improve Pakistan’s image abroad.
