KIEV, Ukraine: The Ukraine-Pakistani political consultations dialogue to develop bilateral cooperation was held in Ukrainian Capital Kiev.
The Ukrainian side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergiy Kyslytsya and while Pakistan was represented by Additional Secretary (Europe) of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs Rafiuzzaman Siddiqui, according to a news release issued on Tuesday.
“Further development of political dialogue, expansion of cooperation in trade and economic fields, as well as cooperation within the international organizations, in particular within the UN, topped the agenda,” said the news release.
Both sides emphasized the necessity to consolidate international efforts with regard to the modern challenges, especially combating terrorism.
The sides exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and South Asia.
