PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Area Study Centre of University of Peshawar (UoP), Peshawar on Wednesday organized an Interactive Session with Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan His Excellency Erik Beishembiev on “Pakistan- Kyrgyzstan Relations and Enhancing Academic Institutional Cooperation” in collaboration with Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS).
During the session, His Excellency Erik Beishembiev talked about the bilateral relations of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The Kyrgyz ambassador expressed his desire for increased cooperation amongst both the brotherly nations in the coming years and ensured his assistance and support in this regard.
Erik Beishembiev said that a strategy for boosting bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan must be devised. He vowed and agreed to continue collaboration and cooperation in all areas.
Furthermore, he stressed on the need to expand cooperation in the field of academic institutions will further enable both the countries to boost their bilateral relationship.
The Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Professor Dr Muhammad Asif Khan, the Director at Area Study Centre of UoP Professor Dr Shabir Ahmad Khan, the Executive Director CGSS Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram, and the Director CGSS Ms. Mehreen Gul also spoke on the occasion.
The panelists of the session were of the view that strengthening the academic institutional cooperation will provide further boost to bilateral relations of both the states in the days ahead.
