Unknown gunmen attack NATO trucks, driver killed

PESHAWAR: Unknown gunmen riding motorbikes opened fire on trucks, carrying supplies to NATO forces in Afghanistan, in Jamrud bypass area of Khyber agency on Thursday that left a driver dead.

The incident occurred as a convoy of seven oil tankers was passing through the Jamrud bypass on its way to Afghanistan, a foreign news agency citing security officials reported.

A local administration official Ali Sher confirmed the incident.
