WASHINGTON: The United States said that Pakistan has suffered gravely from terrorism.
A State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said in Washington Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan‚ has been designated as a foreign terrorist organisation‚ which has conducted a number of attacks in Pakistan.
She said Washington is looking into reports that the TTP dispatched its fighters to Syria to join the Opposition fighting the Assad’s regime.
The spokesperson said US Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Pakistan soon.
