Monitoring Desk: The Washington Post has confirmed that the U.S. Justice Department has seized more than 30 Web domains linked to Iranian state media
This is a new kind of censorship introduced by the US government to control journalism.
The US officials claim their action is counter what they say is Iranian propaganda at a time of simmering tensions between the two countries.
In what seems to be a coordinated action, a similar message appears on the websites of Iranian and regional television networks that claims the domains of the websites have been “seized by the United States Government.” pic.twitter.com/JloU56LvpL
