SIALKOT, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar on Monday inaugurated the newly constructed Head Marala Hydropower Project near Sialkot.
Costing Rs 4 billion, the project has a total capacity of producing 7.64 megawatts electricity with four turbines of 1.9 megawatts capacity each.
While speaking on the occasion, Usman Buzdar said that the Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will solve people’s problems at their doorsteps. He said that they will devise a strategy in collaboration with elected representatives to resolve people’s issues.

The Chief Minister said that he will visit every district and division to fulfill his mission of serving the people.
Usman Buzdar said that the meetings of the Provincial Cabinet will also be held at the divisional level.
Talking about the Head Marala Hydropower Project, Usman Buzdar said that the completion of the project will help reduce the power crises. The said that other small hydro projects will also be completed soon.
The Punjab Chief Minister also said that construction of two roads in Sialkot will begin soon.
