LOG ANGELES: Finally the next movie of the ‘Terminator series’, ‘Terminator Genisys’, has been released in various cinemas across the world including the United States on July 1, 2015.
This US science fiction action movie has been written by Patrick Lussier and Laeta Kalogridis while its direction has been given by Alan Taylor who has already directed a couple of super hit movies such as ‘Thor: The Dark World’ and ‘Palookaville’.
It is the 5th movie in the ‘Terminator series’. Its first film ‘The Terminator’ hit the cinemas in 1984 and remained at top of the US box office for 2 weeks. In ‘The Terminator’, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Michael Biehn and Linda Hamilton played the lead roles.
Later, four more films as its sequels were also released as ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ came in 1991, ‘Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines’ came in 2003, ‘Terminator Salvation’ came in 2009 and now after a gap of six years ‘Terminator Genisys’ has been released.
The 67-year-old actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been the part of ‘Terminator series’ since beginning except the fourth installment in which he did not make his appearance, is back again in ‘Terminator Genisys’.
The film is also featuring Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, J. K. Simmons and Lee Byung-hun in important roles.
It is pertinent to mention here that all previous four installments of the ‘Terminator series’ earned more than $1 billion worldwide.
