LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shaharyar M Khan said on Wednesday that the tour of West Indies is the last cricketing assignment of Pakistan test captain Misbah-ul-Haq.

“We have understanding with Misbah on this issue and it will be his last tour”, he told reporters in a brief chat at Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.

The Chairman PCB said during his recent visit to Sri Lanka for attending Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting he had meetings with the officials of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka cricket boards and the Indian cricket board authorities are stuck to their point on Big three issue which Pakistan is opposing and raised its concerns at the platform of International Cricket Council (ICC).

To a question, he said that Bangladesh cricket team will not be visiting this summer and instead Bangladesh emerging team will visit Pakistan.

Shaharyar Khan that PCB is looking for a neutral venue which may be Sri Lanka as hosting matches in United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a costly venture.

16-member Pakistan Squad announced for Test series against West Indies

Meanwhile, the Selectors announced a 16-man squad for their three-match Test series in the West Indies today.

The first Test between Pakistan and West Indies will start in Jamaica on April 21, the second in Barbados on April 30 and the third in Dominica on May 10.

Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Azhar Ali, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Usman Salahuddin, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Shah, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Asghar, Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali and Muhammad Abbas.
