ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) said widespread rain/thunderstorm is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours.
It said dust-thunderstorm/rain occurred in Punjab‚ Islamabad‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Sindh‚ Eastern Balochistan and Kashmir during the last 24 hours.
Heavy downpour is expected in Upper Sindh‚ Southeastern Balochistan and southern Punjab while at scattered places of Upper/Central Punjab Islamabad‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Southern Sindh‚ Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 46 degrees centigrade was recorded in Nokundi and 45 in Dalbandin and 44 in Dadu.
The maximum temperatures of some major cities were: Islamabad‚ Lahore and Peshawar 34‚ Karachi 41‚ Quetta 39‚ Muzaffarabad and Gilgit 35 and Muree 21 degree centigrade.
