LAHORE, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Commerce said on Saturday that stability in Pakistan’s economy had been recognized in the world.
While addressing Pakistan Mega Leather Show in Lahore on Saturday, the minister said that the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) was pouring in the Country after boost in confidence of foreign investors due to favorable policies of the federal government.
The Commerce Minister said that law and order situation was improved as a result of the military operations in different areas of the Country.
Khurram Dastgir said that various energy projects were being executed speedily. He said that electricity produced by Sahiwal Coal Power Plant had been added to national grid.
The minister disclosed that three Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) power projects of 1300 megawatt of electricity were near to completion.
Meanwhile, the Commerce Minister assured the traders to resolve their issues.
Later talking to newsmen, Khurram Dastgir expressed confidence that exports of the country would increase this year.
