BANNU, Pakistan: The Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa said on Wednesday that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb launched on June 15 against the militants is yielding good results.
Talking to media at the Bakakhel temporarily dislocated persons (TDPs) camp in Bannu after a friendly cricket match, the Director General ISPR said that major roads in the North Waziristan tribal region have been restored.
The Director General ISPR said that the operation is progressing and tons of explosive material has been recovered.
Bajwa said that defusing explosive mines is taking time in North Waziristan. He said that there is no timeline operation.
