BAGHDAD: At least 11 persons were killed while 23 others sustained injuries after a car bomb went off outside a cafe in a town north of Baghdad on Monday, Iraqi police said.
Police said that the blast occurred outside a cafe in a Sunni Muslim area in Buhriz, 60 kilometers northeast of Baghdad.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
The Iraqi capital witnessed a series of explosions on Sunday as well that left at least 30 persons dead and nearly a hundred others injured.
