KABUL: At least 15 Afghan policemen were killed and another 10 sustained injuries in a Taliban ambush in country’s western Farah province, an Afghan official said on Thursday.
The attack took place late Wednesday as the Afghan National Police squad consisting of 40 policemen was patrolling the region’s main highway in several vehicles when they were ambushed in a mountain pass, Farah provincial spokesman Abdul Rahman Zhawandai said.
