RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: A week long activities arranged to pay tribute to martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar are continued to attract visitors here at Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).

A photographs of the martyrs of APS Peshawar have been displayed at RAC to pay rich tribute to the martyrs.

More than 200 photographs include students, school staff, Army personnel and operation Zarb-e-Azb which would be continued on showcase till December 16.

Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said that on the special directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Zahid Saeed and Secretary Information & Culture Momin Ali Agha whole week would be observed in memory of martyrs of Army Public School, Peshawar in which different ceremonies would organized like tribute ceremony of special children, drama Khak-e-Nasheman, ladies mehfil-e-mushaira, poster competition on Dec 15 and tableau competition would be arranged on December 16.

A one day peace book fair was also arranged in connection with Shuhada-e-Army Public School Peshawar Week.

Member Punjab Assembly Tehseen Fawad accompanied by Resident Director Waqar Ahmed inaugurated Peace Book Fair.

Addressing at the occasion Member Punjab Assembly Tehseen Fawad said that Pakistanis will defeat ignorance and terrorism through education. She added the sacrifices of the APS martyrs will be remembered forever.

The children of different school paid tribute to martyrs by singing national songs.
