RAWALPINDI: An anti-terrorism court in Rawalpindi today  summoned former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in the assassination case of Benazir Bhutto.
ATC judge Chaudhry Habib Urrehman resumed hearing of the case wherein FIA prosecutor Chaudhry Zulfiqar stated that former military rulers Pervez Musharraf have not so far appeared in the court after getting bail from the Sindh High Court, therefore he should be summoned on the next hearing.
At which, the court issued notice to Musharraf to turn up on April 13.
On the other hand, the Supreme Court of Pakistan heard a set of petitions seeking Musharraf’s prosecution for high treason.
The court, in its observation, urged the government to take action under Article 6 of the Constitution which deals with high treason.
