ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Karachi on Tuesday for a day-long visit to witness Pakistan Navy’s Multinational Exercise ‘AMAN-17’.
During the visit, the prime minister will also hold a meeting with the Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair and the Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Governor House in Karachi where he will be briefed about the progress on Green Line Mass Transit Project, Lyari Expressway and Karachi Circular Railway projects.
The prime minster will also be briefed about the Karachi Water Supply Project Plant (K-4).
The 5th four-day multinational Naval Exercise ‘Aman 2017’ kicked off on February 10 at Pakistan Navy Dockyard in Karachi under the aegis of Pakistan Navy. In ‘Aman 2017’, 36 Countries are participating through ships, aircrafts, Special Operating Forces, Observers and speakers.
The AMAN is a multinational naval exercise conducted biennially by Pakistan Navy since 2007. The exercise is based on Pakistan Navy lead initiative to bring in various navies under one umbrella.
