MULTAN, Pakistan: A total of 71 Candidates are contesting in general elections 2018 for six National Assembly Seats in district Multan, and who were issued the election symbols on Saturday.

The District Returning Officer (DRO) sources said that 14 Candidates were issued symbols for NA-154.

Similarly, 13 Contestants are in NA-155, 16 in NA-156, eight in NA-157, seven Candidates in NA-158, and 14 in NA-159, who have been given election symbols.

The former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and his two sons Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani and Syed Ali Musa Gilani are Candidates for National Assembly Seats NA-158, NA-154 and NA-157 respectively on Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) tickets with symbol of arrow.

Similarly, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his son is contesting from NA-156 and NA-157 on PTI tickets with symbol of bat.

The Federal Minister Sikandar Hayat Bosan is contesting on symbol of pitcher. He is an independent Candidate.

The former Federal Minister Syed Javed Ali Shah is PML-N’s Candidate in NA-158 with symbol of tiger, and he would contest against Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Ibrahim Khan of PTI.

The Central leader of Janobi Punjab Mahaz Rana Qasim Noon is contesting on PTI ticket with symbol of bat from NA-159.
