Political activities in Pakistan are gearing up as this terrorism ridden country is reaching closer to its forthcoming General elections that are scheduled to be held anytime after April 2013.

Pakistan has a hung Parliament in federal government and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) of former prime minister late Benazir Bhutto is running the government with the support of other political and religious parties to balance out its majority in the National Assembly. Since elections are reaching therefore new political alliances are surfacing and religious parties particularly Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI) that is known for creating Taliban phenomenon and still supports Jihadi outfits are tilting towards right wing political party of former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif—Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz).

There are strong possibilities that all Right Wing Political parties with join had to contest PPP all over the country while JUI, Jamaat-i-Islami and Imran Khan may go for alliance in Pukhtun Khawa against ANP and PPP.

Yes this whole situation has placed Dr. Tahirul Qadri at a very prime place because he is spiritual and religious leader of moderate Islamic sect that is called Bralvi —an of shot of Sunni sect.
