MOSCOW: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called new U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on telephone, says a press statement of Russian Foreign Office on Wednesday,
“During a frank and interested telephonic conversation lasted about an hour, the ministers (Lavrov) Â discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including a schedule of upcoming meeting, and exchanged views on topical international issues,” – said in a statement.
Lavrov also congratulated the American counterpart to the official inauguration and wished them success in his work. The foreign ministers expressed his willingness to engage in constructive dialogue.
