The number of initial claims for unemployment benefits in the U.S. for the week ending February 3, 5000 decreased by 366,000 and totaled. The number of initial claims for the week ended Jan. 27 was revised upward – up to 371 thousand from 368 thousand. The data was worse than analysts’ forecasts, estimates the number of applications for the period decreased by 8,000 from the previous figure neperesmotrennogo – up to 360 thousand.
