ADEN: Three policemen were killed and two others injured when a roadside bomb hidden in a plastic bag exploded in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Saturday, a security services official said.
The blast occurred after the explosive device which was planted close to a police checkpoint in the Sanaa’s al-Hasaba district went off as the policemen opened the bag to check its contents, the officials said.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. However, police have launched an investigation to find those behind the deadly assault.
