PESHAWAR: An accountability court in Peshawar on Thursday gave 14-day remand of former Inspector General Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Malik Naveed and handed him over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials for further investigation in the weapons scam.
The remand was given by the accountability court Judge Walayat Ali Khan who heard arguments from the accused counsel and the prosecutor.
Saddiq Ahmed Qureishi who represented the former police chief pleaded not guilty arguing that other people were responsible for the graft and his client had nothing to do with the case.
