BAGHDAD: A car bomb went off near a church in Doura district located in southern Baghdad after a Christmas service on Wednesday, killing at least 15 persons mostly Christian, police and medics sources said.
The sources said that the explosion took place when worshippers were leaving the church after finishing prayers.
The tragic incident occurred when the Christian community around the world including in Iraq is celebrating the holy festival of Christmas with religious fervor today.
